About Charities Register
Charities Register is an independent reference to every registered charity in England and Wales. It takes the Charity Commission's public register, which is published as raw data, and turns it into something a reader can use: which charities work in a given council area, which are largest, and which have fallen behind with their accounts.
It is not part of, and is not endorsed by, the Charity Commission. It does not accept payment from charities to appear, to rank higher, or to be left out. Every charity on the register is counted the same way.
It is published by Domain Farm Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 13544286, which also publishes reference works built from public registers, including Public Limited Company.
